Schedule B — Risk Disclosure
Short form
Talon Algo provides educational software and community access, not advice. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose more than you deposit. Past results do not predict future results. Nothing here is investment advice. Read the full Risk Disclosure below.
B1. What Talon Algo is, and is not
B1.1 The Talon Algo membership gives you access to Talon Anchor, a TradingView chart indicator for MNQ futures on the 15-minute chart, Talon Crest 45s, a TradingView chart indicator for MNQ futures on the 45-second chart, and a private Discord community. It also includes educational material. It is a software and education product.
B1.2 Talon Algo does not: give personal investment or trading advice; tell you to buy or sell any contract; sell signals or trade calls; manage, direct or trade any account for you; pool money; hold your funds; or connect to or control your broker or prop-firm account.
B1.3 You make every trading decision and you are responsible for it.
B2. Futures trading risk
B2.1 Futures, including micro contracts such as Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 (MNQ), are leveraged. A small price move can produce a large loss.
B2.2 You can lose more than the money you deposit.
B2.3 Markets can gap, move fast, become illiquid or close. Stop orders do not guarantee the price you get. Slippage, commissions, exchange fees and data fees reduce returns.
B2.4 Futures trading is not suitable for everyone. Trade only with money you can afford to lose. Consider your experience, goals and finances, and get independent advice if you need it.
B3. No guarantee
B3.1 Nothing we publish promises or implies that you will make money, avoid losses, pass a prop-firm evaluation, or receive a payout.
B3.2 Past results, real or simulated, do not predict future results.
B4. How we label results
B4.1 At present we do not publish trading results. We make no results or performance claims.
B4.2 If we publish a result, it carries exactly one of these labels:
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| LIVE | A real-money account record that our staff checked against the broker's own export, fees included. One account and one period. Not typical. |
| PAYOUT (SIM/EVAL) | Money a prop firm paid under its own rules for results on a firm-provided account that may be simulated. Not profit from exchange trading. Shown with the fees paid in the same period. |
| SIMULATED | A real, dated record from an account that trades simulated funds: a paper account, a prop-firm evaluation, or a prop-firm funded account in the firm's environment. No real money was at risk. |
| BACKTEST · HYPOTHETICAL | A computer model run on historical data. No trades were placed. |
| DEMO | A sample or illustration. Not a record of any account and never evidence. |
B4.3 We will use LIVE only for a real-money record we have verified.
B4.4 "Verified" or "checked" is not "audited". It means our staff recomputed the figures from a source document we hold and confirmed the account, period and instrument. No broker, firm or auditor vouches for it.
B4.5 Not typical. A single record, a member's result, or a good day or week is not typical. We cannot see most members' accounts, so we cannot say what a typical member achieves. Members choose what to share, so shared results may not reflect everyone's.
B5. Hypothetical and simulated results
B5.1 BACKTEST and SIMULATED results have serious limits. A backtest is built with hindsight: the rules and settings may have been chosen after seeing the data. It may not reflect commissions, slippage, partial fills, thin liquidity, data errors or the way alerts behave in real time. Simulated accounts fill orders in ways a real market may not. No real money was at risk in either case.
B5.2 Wherever we show a BACKTEST or SIMULATED result, the following statement appears prominently and immediately next to it (and is spoken in audio and video):
These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.
B5.3 Each backtest also lists its settings: instrument, timeframe, period, starting capital, commission, slippage, order size, risk per trade and number of trades. Once a product has three months of verified actual results, its backtests stop being used as headline proof.
B6. How the Indicators behave
B6.1 The Indicators mark chart conditions by fixed rules and print reference figures such as a stop distance or reference size. These are calculations, not recommendations. The reference size does not know your account size, the contract's point value or your risk tolerance. Check your own sizing.
B6.2 Chart marks can change while a bar is forming. Most TradingView indicators repaint in some form. Alerts set to "once per bar close" wait for the bar to end. Chart history can differ from what live alerts would have done. The guide for each Indicator states its confirmation behaviour. We do not claim that the Indicators never repaint.
B6.3 Alerts keep frozen settings. A TradingView alert keeps a copy of the script and inputs it had when created. After an update, delete and re-create the alert.
B6.4 Data feeds, time zones and session settings differ between symbols, brokers and TradingView plans and can change results.
B7. Automation and alerts
B7.1 If you send TradingView alerts to a broker or prop-firm account through a third-party routing tool, you set up and control that connection. We do not operate it.
B7.2 Automation follows the rules you set. TradingView, the routing tool, your broker or your internet connection can fail, delay, duplicate or miss an alert or order. TradingView webhook alerts need a paid plan with two-factor authentication on, are sent only to standard ports, time out after about three seconds, can stop if they fire too often, and can expire. Watch your account and keep your own loss limits.
B7.3 Never describe Talon Algo, or treat it, as "set and forget" or as trading "for you".
B8. Prop firms and brokers: your responsibility
B8.1 Each prop firm and broker sets its own rules, including daily loss limits, trailing drawdown, consistency rules, news-trading rules, position limits, restrictions on automation, copy trading or the use of third-party scripts, and payout conditions. These rules differ and change often.
B8.2 You are solely responsible for reading, understanding and following the current rules of any prop firm or broker you use. Breaking a rule can end an evaluation or funded account, cost you fees and resets, or cancel a payout. Talon Algo does not check your setup against any firm's rules and does not promise that any firm will accept it. Any summary of a firm's rules we publish is dated and may be out of date; confirm with the firm.
B8.3 Prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts are often simulated. A payout from a prop firm is not profit from exchange trading. Evaluation and reset fees are at risk.
B8.4 We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any prop firm or broker. If we ever earn a commission from a firm or tool, we say so beside the link.
B9. Third parties
B9.1 TradingView, Whop, Discord, Telegram, brokers, prop firms and routing tools are independent of us. Their outages, policy changes or account decisions can affect your access or your trading.
B9.2 TradingView is a trademark of TradingView, Inc. Talon Algo is independent of TradingView, Inc., CME Group, Whop, Discord, your broker and any prop firm.
B9.3 TradingView has announced new rules for paid invite-only scripts from 1 November 2026. Under them, our TradingView script access through Whop may stop on or after that date. If it does, we will tell you in the announcements channel and by email, and we will stop your future charges unless you choose to keep the rest of your membership (Discord and guides). Charges already made are not refunded. Until it stops, your TradingView access lasts while your membership is active.
B10. Age and availability
B10.1 We sell only to residents of the United States aged 18 or older.
B11. Your acknowledgement
B11.1 By buying or using the Services you confirm that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that trading decisions are yours alone, and that you accept the risks described here.
B11.2 At Whop checkout you confirm this with a required question.
